Shared note

"Joshua's wife was Harriet Andrewes, daughter of Mr and Mrs Andrewes of the Gainsborough painting that appears in the National Gallery." Elaine, decendant of Alfred Jenour

Newspaper report. Derby Mercury, 4th June 1823: Deaths. “On Monday night at Sutton Hall near Mansfield, the residence of Thomas Jenour, Esq. Mrs Harriet Jenour, aged 64, mother of the above gentleman.”

This is very close to Sutton in Ashfield where Thomas’s son Constantine was born, so there is a closer connection between the Thomas we find in Liverpool in 1841 and the family of the newpaper proprietors and the Andrews of the Gainsborough portra it.

Boyd's Marriage index records marriage in 1785 (at least from on-line index). This is the "remarriage" in Flempton.
