(From family tree, Ancestry Olive was b 19 June 1800 Cheddleton died 1 Jan 1848 Foxt (her youngest daughter Lucy was born 1848 and died 1848 so she must have died in childbirth))

Parish records of St Leonard’s Ipstones confirm Olive Crtichlow of Foxt died in 1847/8, age given as 46, and was burried there on 6th January 1848. (Parish records) (BMD 1848 Q1 Cheadle 17 35).

1851 Elijah, 15 was living with a William Crtichlow 24 and his wife Ellen and 2 month old son at whiston near Kinglsey. Elijah was described as a relative of William. He married an Eliza from Yorkshire and continued to live in Kingsley. He had a n umber of children, but there is no obvious link through the census returns to Thomas Dawson. He died in 1891 Q4 Cheadle 6b 205 aged 56.
